To celebrate the 88th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Implora visited several neighborhood associations (RT) and community associations (RW) across Indonesia and held several competitions. The purpose of these competitions was to support the revitalization of nationalism and fighting spirit among residents. Seven RT/RW associations and communities participated, including the Kwangsangan Residence Sedati Housing Complex, Ngagel Berjaya, the Pesanggrahan Village Youth Organization (Karang Taruna), RT 02 Parigi, Bakaras RW 11, and RW 02 Padukuhan 12 Bantul.
The enthusiasm of all residents and community members was overwhelming. This was due to the creative competitions held by Implora. Several mandatory competitions included the Independence-themed Decoration Competition, the Sunscreen Pyramid Making Competition, and the Dare to Be Beautiful Competition (couple makeup with closed eyes). The total prize pool was Rp 12 million for three winners.
Implora hopes to continue the campaign annually, as registration filled up in just three weeks. All participants also complied with all the rules and demonstrated good effort and cooperation. Hopefully, the #DareToBeAChampion campaign can reach more neighborhood associations (RT/RW), communities, and agencies throughout Indonesia.
